I broke ground on this website in January 2026 to publish small self-contained web projects that interested me enough to see them through. I was also motivated to develop my writing skills and decided that from time to time I could write technical articles on topics that intrigued me.
While this could be achieved through other platforms (Substack, Medium), I wanted to have greater control over the interface; to not be further limited by a specific platform’s support for user interactions with multimedia on the World Wide Web.
The personalities of the writers come through. That is the essential element of weblog writing, and almost all the other elements can be missing, and the rules can be violated, imho, as long as the voice of a person comes through, it’s a weblog.
